Roots pavilion - spring 2019

PROJECT: The Magic Shop was assigned as an interior design project during my semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Each student was challenged to create a pavilion to act as a learning center for the Lorenzo De Medici school, a temporary, collapsible pop up shop to encourage academia.

CONCEPT: This Magic Shop blends into its surroundings by grasping the historical vibrancy of Florentine architecture and molding it into a structure in the heart of the Boboli Gardens. The Gardens carry biophilic relevancy into the academic classroom and the cafΓ©, creating a naturally inducive learning space.

LOCATION: Boboli Gardens, Florence, Italy. The Natural beauty of the Boboli Gardens, attracts all types of people from around Florence. This garden is central, accessible, yet private enough for the intamacy of a LDM course.
