COLOR COLLAGE - SPRING 2017

PROJECT:
This pavilion was assigned to challenge the student to work with a set of building blocks and create a space. By incorporating understanding of color theory, each individual has a unique spatial experience while viewing the featured sculpture.  Each color block was cut precisely to fit on a presentation board, and a clear overlay layer contained the secondary blue rendition.

CONCEPT:
This pavilion was designed to house and accentuate an abstract sculpture. Being built between two museums in the Cultural District of Fort Worth, Texas, allows the structure to act as a portal view for the sculpture and for the surrounding natural environment.
